30 days without alcohol – health benefits of abstinence
Alcohol consumption in Poland is neither stigmatized nor prohibited. A bottle or can can be purchased almost anywhere at any time. The alcohol problem affects about 800 thousand Poles. Research shows that approximately 3 million citizens consume pure alcohol in a way that is risky for their health. Weekend alcoholism, as well as sporadic drinking, seem harmless. Over time, however, addiction leads to loss of control, depletion of internal organs, and weakening of the psyche.Effects of monthly abstinence and quitting alcohol:

- weight loss
- greater concentration
- increased creativity
- improvement in liver function
- proper digestion
- lower blood pressure and glucose levels

Month without alcohol with Nasz Gabinet – how to participate
In Poland, August is primarily the month of sobriety – as recommended by the Catholic Church. We decided to conduct our experiment from November 16 to December 15, 2020 – in the period after All Saints' Day and before Christmas. This is an appropriate time for reflection and change that can positively affect not only you but also your family. We are conducting the challenge in cooperation with Michał Będźmirowski, who is known in the Instagram world as Modny Tata. The coronavirus pandemic caused an increase in alcohol sales by several percent. Poles are consuming more alcohol, so more people are at risk of alcohol disease. Remember, drinking never solves problems, it only generates new ones. Therefore, we invite you to participate in a month-long alcohol abstinence.
